Hope marks a dramatic shift in output as the German producer drops a modern-day dance classic. 'Hope' lies somewhere between the gritty, hard-hitting electro sound and an emotional club rollercoaster. Over dubbed vocoded vocals accentuate the machine funk while keeping a heartfelt vibe. The catchy "I just hope there is hope, but honestly, I'm not so optimistic" gives off melancholic realism, furthering feelings of nihilism, nostalgia, and excitement.
